The Guidance

What could be the benefits of The Guidance for you

Out of your head, into your body

Many people today live primarily in their heads: planning, worrying, and analyzing. In these classes, the focus shifts from ‘thinking’ to ‘feeling.’ This allows your brain to switch out of ‘work mode’ for a while. Instead of thinking about how you should move, you focus on the purpose and the feeling of the movement. This provides immediate mental peace and reduces mental overload. You offer yourself the opportunity to apply this daily, spending less time in your head and becoming more aware of your body and the important processes happening within it.

Better management of emotions and stress

Moving to music has a significant effect on the brain. It helps you shift from a reactive state (reacting immediately and impulsively from emotion) to a regulated state.
The primitive part of your brain takes over. By moving consciously and slowing down, you activate the part of your brain responsible for control and calm. By exposing yourself to this experience weekly, your brain is trained to utilize these suitable strategies at a neurological level when faced with real-life situations.     You learn to regulate your emotions better. This means you are less likely to become overwhelmed in stressful situations at work or in parenting, and you regain your calm more quickly.

Focus on the process

In these classes, the process is what we focus on. Your effort and the act of trying are more important than being (immediately) successful.
You learn that making mistakes is not failing, but simply information you learn from, which allows you to grow. This process of trying, accepting, and letting go creates resilience. If you learn to deal with resistance or try something new during the class, you take that resilience with you into the outside world.

Awareness and Self-Confidence

We work in blocks with themes that are directly linked to personal development. By literally “standing your ground” more firmly and feeling your physical boundaries, you also become mentally stronger.

Through movement, you subconsciously train skills, such as focus, impulse control, and flexibility. These are exactly the executive functions you need to plan your day, keep your attention on track, and switch between tasks.
By listening better to what your body is telling you, you develop a sharper intuition, leading to more self-confidence and autonomy. This ensures better self-regulation and, consequently, more peace of mind.

Give yourself peace and space

These lessons are a moment to slow down in a fast-paced world. It is an investment in yourself where you go through the cycle of recognizing (what do I feel?), acknowledging (it’s allowed to be there), accepting, and letting go.
